Experiments
The Roleystone mast is 250' (80M) high and was built by WANG (West Australian Natural Gas) in the early 1970s on land that belonged to an amateur, who as a condition of sale, allowed amateurs access to the site and tower. This has worked well for almost 40 years. The site is our most valuable location for amateur repeaters as it is easy access and lots of room on the tower.
